This is exactly how they described it. I don't have cable, but I do have 52 channels here. And these channels are totally functional and crystal clear. To obtain the best reception, use a piece of strong tape and move it around the room. I have mine on the outside of my window, and the quality of the image is quite amazing. Many of the channels are in 1080HD, which is fantastic.

We were hit by a massive thunderstorm. For a few days, our internet and cable were down. This antenna was quite useful. I was able to watch TV till the Wi-Fi was restored.

Connecting the "Ant In" on the back of our Smart TV was the most difficult step for us. We had to take it off the wall anchors and then put it back on the wall anchors because it's wall mounted. It's not as simple as it seems, but it's feasible. Once it was done safely, channel searching was a breeze, and the channels that the antenna discovered were crystal clear.

The antenna is incredible. Period. Prior to utilizing the antenna, I was using an older Time Warner Cable antenna that barely received us close to 20 channels. We got around 150 channels when we installed it indoors, which is far more than we expected based on previous evaluations. If we set it on the glass window, I can only image how many channels we'll get. The antenna itself is made of floppy plastic.

Okay, so this review will be a story of why I decided to switch from cable to this "free [digital] service," and I'll get right to it. This item is fantastic. The antenna, amplifier, and "power plug" for the amplifier were all included in the packaging. The antenna's coaxial cable is around 16tf in length, which should be sufficient for any distance of use unless you are concerned

So far, everything has gone well. Although I believe 120 miles is a stretch, I am picking up stations approximately 30 miles away simply by having it in the window. According to Antenna Web, I pick up every station in the area that should be available. My old, similar-looking antenna would only pick up Fox (30 miles distant) if I tilted it one way, and I'd miss other, nearby channels in the process. This one snatched everything.

READ EVERYTHING BEFORE CUTTING THE CABLE FOLKS! This thing went above and beyond my expectations!! I stopped paying for television several months ago because I was sick of handing them all of my money! For a piece of trash service, I paid $180 extra. I've been experimenting with trial streaming services such as Hulu FUBU and Sling TV. Unsatisfied with those because you can only access local news stations on Fubotv. Not that I have a lot of time to devote to it.

This took my husband only a few minutes to set up. It's fantastic. We do not have cable and rely solely on streaming networks. We did, however, want to watch the local news station. We've found it! Plus, if you have that much time on your hands, extra channels:) We also have a number of additional TV-related products. The cord on this one is a little longer, which is excellent. But, to be honest, we hid it under the TV and it still works.
